Description

The El Barbón mask is a traditional Mexican dance mask from Guerrero. Translated to the Bearded Man, the El Barbón mask may come from the Dance of the Marquis, one of many dances originating in Colonial Spanish efforts to convert native Mexicans to Catholicism.
