Description

This beautiful huipil was woven in the traditional Tzotzil way on a backstrap loom by an artisan woman of the Magdalena community in the highlands of Chiapas, Mexico. The pink and red fabric and diamond shape embroidery is characteristic of the Magdalena weaving style.
