Description

This is a brush or small broom made by the Ndebele people of South Africa. It has a wooden handle and the bristles of the broom are made of a bundle of very fine cane stalks.
It is decorated with multicolored glass beads, in patterns, threaded on wire. In Ndebele culture, this broom may be a traditional gift from the mother to new wife on the wedding day.
