Description

Depicting traditional Andean scenes, this miniature wall retablo is handcrafted by artisan Jesus Urbano Cardenas of Callao, Peru. This retablo is made by using a hollowed and cross-cut carrizo reed as the holder and plaster to form the scenery and people. Jesus is the son of famous retablo maker Jesus Urbano Rojas from Ayacucho.
